Delivery Information

We are pleased to offer free delivery to any mainland* UK address, on orders over £200, provided that the goods are being delivered to a single delivery address.

Orders below £100 attract a delivery charge of £10.00 per consignment and orders between £100 and £200 attract a delivery charge of £5.00, provided that goods are being delivered to a single delivery address.

* Excludes N. Ireland, Scottish Highlands, Channel Islands and other off-shore destinations

All of our orders are carefully packed to protect the hamper contents. If you order a fluted board tray or wicker hamper these are shipped within a cardboard outer.

We use professional couriers who will handle your delivery with care and attention.

Orders are tracked in transit.  If you have given us an email address we will contact you with a parcel tracking number so you can track the parcel to avoid any potential problems with delivery

How quickly will my order arrive?

All orders received before 10am Monday to Thursday will be dispatched for next working day delivery unless a preferred date is specified.  

Orders placed after 10 am on Thursday and on Friday, Saturday and Sunday will be normally be dispatched on Monday (excluding Bank Holidays when they will be dispatched on Tuesday).  As hampers often contain chilled items they cannot be dispatched on a Friday for Monday delivery as they would be held in a holding depot over the weekend.

Saturday and timed deliveries are available at an extra cost. Please Contact us for a quote.  Saturday deliveries need to be placed by 10.00am on the Friday at the latest.  Please ensure there is someone available to sign for the hamper or make alternative arrangements for delivery, i.e. to a neighbour.  

Can I request a delivery date?

For those special occasions we can deliver your order on a date of your choice (please see above regarding Saturday delivery). Please specify this when you complete your order. We will make every effort to ensure your order is delivered on time but occasionally deliveries may be delayed due to adverse weather or other conditions beyond our control for which we will not be held responsible.

What about non-mainland UK delivery?

We can only deliver hampers containing non-perishable items to certain non-mainland UK addresses including Scilly Isles, Isle of Man, Channel Islands, Scottish Highlands and Scottish Islands.

Substitute Items

Please note that we endeavour to maintain stocks of all items shown in our hampers, but during busy periods or if stocks are unavailable from our suppliers it may be necessary to substitute an item. In these cases the item will be of a similar type and of the same or higher value.

Fresh & Frozen Produce

All our chilled products e.g. cheeses are dispatched in insulated packaging.  However we advise that someone be available to receive hampers containing these products in order that they can be placed in a refrigerator as soon as possible.  However if for any reason the hampers has to be returned to a depot overnight, due to non-delivery, we are unable to guarantee the condition of these products. 

Delivery Instructions

A signature will be required on delivery unless you have given alternative instructions. The person signing for the goods must be over 18 years of age if the hamper contains alcohol. If the package cannot be delivered, a card will be left advising the recipient to contact the courier.  In the unlikely event that the delivery is delayed due to circumstances beyond our control Hamper Happiness cannot accept responsibility.  Nor can we be held responsible if incorrect delivery information is given; premises are closed when delivery is attempted and we were not informed of opening times or the recipient is out or away. .

The couriers are responsible for Goods in Transit but if for any reason the couriers misplace a parcel, we will offer you a complete refund or replacement.


Please note that some hampers contain alcohol and that alcohol is sold via this site. The minimum age for buying alcohol is 18 and it is illegal to buy alcohol if under this age and also illegal to buy it for those under 18.
